Saudi Arabia’s AMAALA Yacht Club Opening in 2025 to Attract Global Superyachts

The ultra-luxury destination AMAALA Triple Bay on Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast is firmly positioning itself as a global yachting hub. Developed by Red Sea Global, the project announced in November 2025 that it will open its flagship marine facility, the AMAALA Yacht Club, in late 2025, marking a significant shift in the superyacht landscape.
At the heart of the yacht-club component is a state-of-the-art marina designed to host up to 116-120 berths for superyachts up to 140 metres in length.
The infrastructure is matched by luxury resorts, a full-service marina village, and a sailing academy. Notably, the venue is slated to host the grand finale of The Ocean Race Grand Finale 2027, anchoring AMAALA’s place on the global yachting calendar.
For superyacht owners and charter firms, the timing and strategy of AMAALA are compelling. With cruising demand in traditional regions becoming more competitive and charter inventories tight, a new winter-season destination offering modern marina infrastructure, year-round sailing conditions and wellness-focused surroundings presents strong appeal.
That appeal extends into both ownership and charter markets. Interestingly, charter specialists are advising clients who are already securing vessels well in advance for Mediterranean seasons. For example, many charterers today are securing luxury voyages by arranging boat rentals in Greece to lock favourable yachts before new destinations such as AMAALA come fully online.
The shift in the market is clear. With fewer availability constraints and expanded destinations, charter-and-asset-management firms that can offer global reach and advanced planning will lead. That is where companies like DanEri Yachts enter the equation, offering tailored charter and vessel-management services positioned to match this evolving landscape.
Kamnaki Maria, Reservation Manager at DanEri Yachts, says:
“The upcoming opening of AMAALA Yacht Club signals new latitude for superyacht owners and charterers alike. At DanEri Yachts we are advising clients to plan ahead; whether that means securing a prime Mediterranean vessel now or ensuring their platform is ready for emerging hubs like AMAALA. The advantage will go to those who move early.”
