How not to miss whatever you’ve chosen
Accommodation Tips
No matter what event or period you have chosen for your stay in Aspen. For sure, it will be busy all the winter season. As the world famous competitions are going to take place there, don’t leave your vacations for the last minute booking. At least, not this year. Therefore, choose everything in advance and book a vacation rental. Now you will still have more choice among hotels/apartments variants and prices. If you are traveling in a group, consider booking a mountain cabin or a chalet. Naturally, it might be a good option for a family or a group of friends. Cooking on your own is not just economical but much fun as well.
Transportation Tips
Speaking about the way from Denver Airport to Aspen, it’s necessary to say that it’s quite confusing. Twisting Rocky Mountains and unpredictable weather make driving very stressful and exhausting. You are going to drive through dangerous Vail Pass. And it’s considered to be the most difficult Colorado section to navigate. There is also Independence Pass, leading to Aspen. But it’s closed in winter due to heavy snowfalls and hazardous winter conditions. In any case, be careful there and think of everything in advance. It’s better not to risk and choose a private transfer, which will safely bring you from Denver to Aspen.
