FastExpert Makes Finding the Right Real Estate Agent Simpler
Home buyers can compare properties in seconds, yet choosing the person who will guide the transaction often remains far less straightforward. FastExpert closes that gap.
The modern home search usually begins online. Buyers move between listing photos, price histories and neighborhood data, while sellers study recent sales before deciding when to enter the market. But when it is time to find a real estate agent, many consumers still rely on a single referral or the first name attached to a listing.
FastExpert was founded in 2014 by Andrew Te to give buyers and sellers a clearer way to make that choice. The online platform allows consumers to search for local real estate agents, compare professional profiles and contact the candidates who appear best suited to their needs. The service is free for consumers, and there is no requirement to hire an agent through the platform.
That comparison matters because real estate experience is rarely interchangeable. An agent who regularly sells suburban single-family homes may not be the best fit for a downtown condominium or rural property. A first-time buyer may need patient guidance through each stage of the transaction, while an experienced seller may place greater value on pricing strategy and local marketing.
FastExpert organizes its search by location, allowing consumers to begin with agents who work in the relevant market. Profiles can include service areas, specialties, sales experience and client feedback. According to the company, the platform includes more than 35,000 verified real estate agents and draws on sales information and reviews to help users compare their options.
The platform also gives consumers more control over the beginning of the process. Users can browse without providing personal information upfront and choose when they are ready to contact an agent. FastExpert maintains a client services team for buyers and sellers who want additional help with the matching process.
Its model reflects the continuing importance of agents even as more of the housing search moves online. The National Association of Realtors reported that 88% of buyers purchased through an agent or broker in its 2025 Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers. Buyers commonly relied on agents to find properties, negotiate terms and understand the transaction.
FastExpert is not designed to replace that relationship. Instead, it applies digital search and comparison tools to the process of choosing the professional who will provide those services.
Consumers still need to interview potential agents and decide whose experience, communication style and approach fit their goals. FastExpert provides the starting point, turning what might have been a single recommendation into a broader and more informed search.
For buyers and sellers already accustomed to researching homes online, the concept is a natural extension of the process. FastExpert brings more information to the agent search while leaving the final decision where it belongs: with the consumer.
