The Real J.T.W. teams up with talented Japanese singer/songwriter Sheryu from Japan. Both musicians came across one another’s music through Instagram. Instantly, both knew one’s talent. The track is titled “LIFE BE LIKE THIS.” This track dives into the goodness in life and how you can’t take life for granted. The Real J.T.W. speaks on his battles with trying to find peace within himself. Showing a different light many fans haven’t seen before from him. Many fans & supporters know The Real J.T.W. as a controversial figure in the music industry. This track really shows who he really is as a person. The featured musician, Sheryu, brings a beautiful chorus with heartfelt lyrics of hope and guidance into finding light at the end of the tunnel. Soundcloud fans received early access to the track on 08/10/2026. Then it officially released worldwide on 08/17/2026. A music video to the track also dropped on Instagram first. The next day, it was also dropped on YouTube, where fans can watch the official music video. The music video explores culture and how precious life really is. The Real J.T.W. (born March 2, 1993) is a musician/songwriter and controversial figure. He was born and raised in downtown Omaha, Nebraska. He had a rough childhood growing up but was able to find peace through music. At age 12, he started writing music. After time music became therapeutic for him, and he wanted to share that therapy with others. He speaks on real-life events in his life & around the world. Mental health plays a big role in his music. As he speaks on subject matters such as depression, addiction, and mental illness.
The Real J.T.W. took the internet by surprise in late 2020. He dropped his first EP album with no label titled “The Good & The Bad”. This EP project consisted of 8 tracks. In which one of the tracks was titled “SHATTERED” which opened the door for him with some big opportunities. He had also dropped a music video following the success of this song. In late 2020, a producer who goes by the name of Soulburnin, took a liking to his music. The two started working together on his first professional studio album titled “Watch Me Bleed.” This album consisted of 15 tracks. Two of his tracks made some serious noise, titled “Damaged” and “New Place.” He made a name for himself on platforms like SoundCloud and Instagram, where he continues to connect with fans and share his music. He has made a promise to his fans to stay active and drop one song each month. Each track has a story of its own. Many fans have described his music as therapeutic, while others would describe it as dark but real. Many people ignore the importance of mental health. As he makes it his main focus in life and through his music. In early 2022, The Real J.T.W. recorded his second professional studio album under Soulburnin Records, titled “Painful Living.” This album consisted of 10 tracks in total. He had two successful tracks off this album titled “REFLECTIONS” & “DIVIDE.” In which both went viral. This album dropped on all platforms on December 29, 2023. Moving on to 2024, he started working on his next album titled “Way Below Ground.” This album consisted of 11 tracks in total. Two of his hit singles were on the track list titled “RUINS” & “TRICK OR TREAT.” This album dropped on January 20, 2025. He’s also sitting on seven other albums that have been recorded by him & produced by his label, Soulburnin Records. These albums will drop over the course of the next few years going ahead. There is talk of one of his finished albums dropping sometime in late 2026.
The Real J.T.W. earned his 100K Subscribers plaque on YouTube on March 15th, 2025. This marked his biggest achievement yet. This achievement shows the level he’s at not just as a musician but as a YouTube influencer. Some of the content he does on his YouTube channel is music videos, weightlifting videos & tribute shorts. He has over 170 million views just on YouTube with over 167K+ subscribers. All together through all platforms. He’s got over 200K+ followers & subscribers spread out through all platforms. This is impressive as he’s accomplished so much in the course of his career. The Real J.T.W. dropped his biggest track of his career, titled “DO THE WALK,” which dropped worldwide on December 22, 2025. This song went viral on platforms like Instagram and SoundCloud reaching over 2 million streams & views. He also dropped a music video for this track. This track is still gaining lots of recognition till this day.
