Olight’s ArkTac Series Brings Multi-Source Lighting to a Flat Tactical Control Platform
Olight’s new ArkTac Series applies the company’s flat-body design language to a tactical flashlight platform built around multiple light sources and faster control access. Reservations are currently open, with the latest pricing listed at $119.99 for ArkTac, $159.99 for ArkTac Ultra, and $199.99 for the ArkTac Ultra Premium package.
The lineup is positioned for duty, security, emergency, EDC, and professional use. Its technical proposition centers on integrating several optical functions into a slim body while reducing the number of steps required to reach key modes.
Direct-access controls drive the interface
Think of the tail controls as physical hotkeys for your light. The dual-stage rear switch instantly snaps between long-distance illumination and wide flood cover—no double-tapping required. Meanwhile, the dedicated CommandPoint key acts as a macro button, pre-set to Strobe but ready to map to whatever beam you need most.
The standard ArkTac is 17 mm thick and combines Pure Flood, Spotlight, UV, and Red Light. Maximum output across the series reaches up to 1,800 lumens, with beam distance extending to 215 meters.
That source mix covers broad-area illumination, distance lighting, low-light red operation, and inspection functions in one handheld platform. For professional users, the benefit lies as much in direct access as in the number of sources available.
ArkTac Ultra adds a fifth source and new material
Chassis engineering takes a leap forward on the ArkTac Ultra with the introduction of OAL². This next-gen proprietary aluminum delivers a 7.3% surge in surface hardness alongside an 11.5% jump in yield strength, setting a higher threshold for rigid, drop-resistant EDC hardware.
