Gary Chivichyan Weighs Multi-Year Offers from Middle East Clubs
LOS ANGELES, UNITED STATES — Professional basketball clubs in Qatar, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and Dubai have reportedly explored multi-year agreements with Armenian-American guard Gary Chivichyan ahead of the 2026–27 season. Chivichyan remains unsigned.
The reported interest follows more than six months away from competitive basketball. During that period, Chivichyan has spent time building business ventures in Los Angeles and reconnecting with family.
Chivichyan’s recent basketball activity included a two-week training camp with the Milwaukee Bucks and participation with the team in NBA Summer League in Las Vegas in 2026. His career has also included notable achievements at the Division 1 level in college, NBA and G League experience and professional competition overseas.
The clubs’ reported interest gives Chivichyan several possible destinations as he considers whether to return to overseas play for another season. The next step remains his decision; no agreement has been announced.
