NFL Brings 18 Live Spanish-Language Games to Fans in Spain Through CayoTV, Part of Nicole Junkermann’s Gameday by NJF Holdings

The 2026 agreement pairs Sunday-evening games with commentary from CayoTV’s creators and extends to Spanish-language production for the league’s International Games in Europe.

Followers of American football in Spain have a new place to watch the NFL this season. The league has reached an agreement with CayoTV, a Spain-based digital sports platform, to show 18 games live with Spanish-language coverage during the 2026 season.

Matches go out on CayoTV’s YouTube channel in Spain on Sundays in the 13:00 ET window, which is 19:00 in Madrid. The league made the announcement in the Spanish capital on 11 September 2026.

Creators in the Commentary Seat

Three CayoTV creators, Rubén Ibeas, Sofía del Prado and Bruno Feliu, provide live commentary on each broadcast. The format is intended to keep viewers close to the action from the opening weeks of the season to the last, with a tone that feels conversational rather than formal. Between games, the platform produces Spanish-language highlights and short clips for its followers around the country.

“CayoTV’s creator-focused approach and its strong digital reach will help bring all the excitement of the NFL to fans during the 2026 season.”

RAFA DE LOS SANTOS, DIRECTOR OF NFL SPAIN

Why Creator-Led Coverage

For a league building its audience outside the United States, the choice of partner matters. Many younger viewers now discover sport through online channels and personalities they already follow, and commentary in their own language from familiar voices can make an unfamiliar game easier to pick up. CayoTV’s coverage is designed as an addition to the league’s established outlets in Spain, giving newer fans a friendly first step into the season.

Feeds for Europe’s International Games

The partnership also includes production work for the league. CayoTV will create Spanish-language feeds for as many as six NFL International Games staged in Europe in 2026, which the league will then carry on its own channels, including Mundo NFL on YouTube. Production on location is planned for the league’s 2026 Madrid Game.

Promotion Across the Season

Both sides will promote the partnership through the season. The plans run from weekly joint social media activity with NFL Spain to on-air prompts that steer CayoTV’s audience towards NFL games on Mediaset and NFL Game Pass. CayoTV’s presenters will also regularly highlight what NFL Spain and Mundo NFL publish.

About the Partners

CayoTV builds its programming around a younger generation of sports fans, mixing premium live events with creator-presented shows, original formats and distribution planned for social media. Its output, from live events to commentary and highlights, appears on YouTube and other online services.
