Prop Firm Bridge: The Solo Founder Turning Trading Data Into Proof
You pass a challenge. You ask for your first payout. Then you wait and wonder: will the firm really pay?
Akash Mane did not like that this question had no clear answer. So in February 2026 he started Prop Firm Bridge. It is a website that checks and compares proprietary trading firms. His goal was simple: show traders proof, not marketing.
He started it alone. No investors, no big company, no team waiting for him. Just one person, a laptop and a question nobody else wanted to answer. In only eight months, that idea became a site that scores prop firms, reads their rules every night, tracks hundreds of millions of dollars in payouts and tests discount codes by hand. It is hard to name anyone in this industry who has built this much, this fast, completely on their own.
Today traders around the world use the site before they buy a challenge. On X, thousands of them know him simply as @akashwolfe, the founder who answers with proof instead of promises.
Three Simple Rules
Ask Mane how he did it, and he points to three simple rules.
Rule one: use the source. Every rule, price and payout term on Prop Firm Bridge must come from the firm’s own website, terms or dashboard. It must also show the date it was checked. A post on social media is not enough.
Rule two: test it yourself. If a page says something works, he tries it.
Rule three: count only what you can prove. A small number that is true is better than a big number that nobody can trust.
“Most traders don’t fail because they can’t trade,” Mane says. “They fail because they did not understand the rules. Our job is to make the rules easy to see.”
A Score That No Firm Can Buy
These rules shape the PFB Methodology, which scores each prop firm. It looks at risk first: how loss limits work together, what a consistency rule really means, and what happens when a trader asks for a payout.
Each firm gets a score and a simple label: Trusted, Moderate or High risk. Mane is clear about one thing. No firm can pay for a better score or a better label.
A Tracker That Reads the Small Print Every Night
Proprietary trading firms change their rules often, and most of the time they do not announce it.
Prop Firm Bridge reads the firms’ own rule, price and help pages every night. A change goes on the site only when it is quoted word for word from the firm’s page. So traders get a dated list of what changed, and whether it is better or worse for them.
This matters. In October 2026 the usual daily loss limit was 3% and 77% of firms had a consistency rule. Small changes here can end an account.
Payouts You Can Check Yourself
Many prop firms now pay traders through Rise, a payroll service that sends each payment on the Arbitrum blockchain. So every payout is public.
Mane saw what this meant before almost anyone else. He did not just collect the data. He designed the whole system behind it: tools that read the blockchain day and night, link each wallet to its firm only when the proof is clear, and turn millions of raw transactions into a live leaderboard any trader can understand in seconds. On 23 october 2026, his payout tracker showed:
- $388 million in checked payouts since 7 April 2026
- 239,698 payouts from 33 named firms
- $106 million paid in the last 30 days alone
Another $531 million came from 548 wallets with no known owner yet. These are shown on their own and are not added to any firm. “If we can’t prove whose wallet it is, it doesn’t get a name,” Mane says.
A Bachelor of Arts Student Who Built a Tech Ecosystem
What makes this even harder to believe is where Mane comes from. He is not a software engineer. He did not study computer science at a famous university. He holds a BA in Economics from a government college. No coding degree, no tech team, no outside support.
Yet he built a complete ecosystem on his own: a scoring method, a tracker that reads firms’ rules every night, a public payout ledger, codes tested by hand and a community where effort is rewarded. Each part feeds the others. That is the kind of work people expect from a funded tech company with dozens of engineers. He did it with an economics degree, a laptop and a refusal to give up.
Discount Codes, Tested by Hand
Rule two is easy to see in how the site handles discounts. Its code, BRIDGE, gives a discount at more than 30 prop firms. He tries each one at the firm’s real checkout himself. The date of the last test is shown next to it.
Many traders have typed an old coupon at checkout and watched it fail. Here, anyone can look at the codes he tests at each firm’s checkout and see the day each one last worked.
Giveaways for Effort, Not Luck
There is no lucky draw. Traders win funded accounts with Bridge Points, earned by helping others, like writing a verified review or answering questions.
“A giveaway should reward the traders who help other traders,” he says. “That’s the community I want.”
Why Traders Trust Him
Mane is curious about why traders fail, and he does not trust anything that sounds too easy.
For many young traders, that makes him feel more like a mentor than a website owner.
Think about what that took. Nights spent reading the small print of firm after firm while others slept. Codes tested one by one, by hand, again and again. Every number checked twice before it could go live. No one asked him to do it. No one paid him to do it. He did it because he had seen traders lose money they could not afford to lose, on rules nobody explained to them, and he decided that should stop.
Now he is taking the same approach to forex. In October 2026 he launched The Forex Bridge, which reviews 50 forex and CFD brokers with every licence linked to the regulator’s own list and every fee re-checked each night. Same rules, new market: use the source, test it yourself, and count only what you can prove.
The Honest Part
Mane is also clear about what none of this changes. Most traders who buy a prop challenge do not get a funded account. Trading with leverage is high risk, and you can lose money. Good information helps you avoid bad rules, broken codes and firms that do not pay. It does not make profit more likely.
In an industry that grew up on screenshots, that honesty may be his most useful gift to traders.
