About Rummy Indian Open: The Rummy Tournament for Pros

With a total prize pool of ₹25 crore, the Rummy Indian Open is one of the biggest online rummy tournaments hosted by the A23 Rummy app. It has already started from the 1st of August and will be held till the 30th of September. Players can join the rake-based matches by participating in the Daily SnG games, the wildcard matches, or the Rummy BOSS tournament.

A total of 36 players (18 from each month) will qualify through the levels and progress to the Grand Finale of RIO from the Monthly Finale. Another 12 players (6 from each month) from the leaderboards of the Rummy BOSS tournament will progress to the Grand Finale.

This Grand Finale is scheduled to be held on 12th October 2025 as an offline event at Deltin, Goa.

How to Participate in the Rummy Indian Open

Though the competition is geared towards the pro rummy players, it is open to all via participation in one of the following:

Daily SnG: 6 am to 9 pm every Monday to Saturday
Royal SnG: 12 am to 8 pm every Monday to Saturday
Beginners’ Special Tourney (Newbie Tournament): 11 am and 7 pm each week from Monday to Saturday
Weekly Wildcard: 3 pm every Sunday
Monthly Wildcard: 3 pm on August 15th, August 27th, September 13th, and September 20th

Winners of the SnG games will progress to the Daily Qualifiers (to be held at 10 pm). Then, winners from the Daily Qualifiers, Beginners’ Special Tourney, and Weekly Wildcard will progress to the Weekly Qualifiers (held at 10 pm every Sunday).

Those who top the leaderboard in the Weekly Qualifiers and Monthly Wildcard will progress to the Monthly Finale (scheduled for 31st August and 28th September). As bonus games, players can also participate in the Festive Tourney (August 15th and 27th, 7 pm).
