Adelaide private vault opens for safe deposit boxes, bullion storage and gold purchases

ADELAIDE, 7 October 2026: A private vault offering safe deposit boxes, bullion storage, and gold and silver to buy has opened at 22 King William Street in Adelaide. Vault Australasia is the business behind it.
Vault Australasia is an independent Australian company affiliated with the Commonwealth Vault Group, which has operated private vaults in New Zealand since 1998, with safe deposit box vaults in Auckland and Christchurch. The Adelaide vault draws on that experience, offering storage and bullion side by side.
Some Australian banks have scaled back safe custody, and many people are looking for somewhere new to keep their valuables.
Keeping valuables safe
Customers can rent safe deposit boxes in Adelaide for documents, jewellery, watches, heirlooms, coins and other valuables, and visit during opening hours. Wills, passports and property titles are frequent choices, along with keepsakes that could not be bought again.
Vault Australasia keeps no copy of customers’ box keys. The vault is monitored by SECOM Security, emergency access outside opening hours is available on request, and private cages and vaults can be leased, priced on application.
Gold and silver
Vault Australasia’s website sells gold and silver bullion. Shoppers can browse gold for sale, including gold bars, alongside silver from selected mints and refiners, with live spot prices shown on the gold and silver pages.
Bullion bought online can be placed straight into the buyer’s own box at the vault, so it never needs to be shipped, collected or kept at home.
Identity and proof of address checks are required before a customer’s first purchase.
Gold and silver bought elsewhere can also be stored. Customers can bring their existing bullion to the vault and keep it with their documents and jewellery, so everything of value is in one place and can be checked in one visit.
Getting started
Box options and the bullion range are online, along with the option to request box prices and availability or book a visit to see the vault before deciding.
Chief Executive Jerome Concisom said Vault Australasia was created for people building wealth steadily over time.

Opening hours are Monday to Friday, 10.00am to 6.00pm.
