Beyond the Expected : Gal Fridman at Art Miami 2026
A pilot looks beyond her cockpit into a cosmic landscape. A woman peers through a scope with intense concentration. In both scenes, attention becomes a form of action.
G6x7 will present these works by Gal Fridman at Art Miami 2026, December 1-6 at One Herald Plaza in Miami. Set between discovery and danger, the two women take the lead. Each image explores a different relationship between ambition and action.
The pilot inhabits two worlds at once. Her aircraft suggests metal, instruments and speed, while stars, nebulae and celestial markings extend into the darkness beyond it.
Handwritten reminders bring this vast scene back to everyday life: a piano lesson, a note for the mechanic, a task to complete. The monumental and the ordinary share the cockpit. Her responsibilities remain present even as her horizons expand.

Precision
In Precision, action gives way to concentration. One eye is concealed behind the scope while the other remains intensely alert. Observation, patience and control define the scene.
Her face, clothing and equipment appear assembled from countless fragments, linking skin, fabric and machinery through a shared surface. A celestial image inside the lens adds another layer to the act of looking. Beauty and danger coexist without resolving the tension between them.
From Surface to Object
G6x7 extends these images into physical space using materials including brushed aluminum and transparent acrylic layers set at different depths. Light and shadows become part of the composition, while details can align or separate as the viewer moves.
The structure connects the fragmented surfaces within the images to the experience of encountering them as objects. Viewing becomes an active process: a change in position can reveal a different relationship between the layers.
Gal Fridman at Art Miami
Fridman studied photography at Jerusalem’s Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design before working across photography, fashion, branding, international business and technology. Those disciplines meet in works that combine attention to composition and light with an interest in materials, fabrication and spatial experience.
The two women express that approach through distinct actions: navigating and observing. Their worlds differ, but each occupies her place with purpose.
