You are the guardian of an island with its share of crazyness, melodrama, love, friendship, and surprises. You make Mii characters, whether they are relatives, friends or your very own creation and look after them by feeding them, dressing them, giving them presents and advice as they go about their daily life on the island.
Island & Social Life:
In Tomodachi Dream Life initially, your Mii characters will not know each other. You can have them in close contact to get them talking, and after they are familiar, they will begin to hang out together.
How to Play:
It does not have a definite destination except to level up your island and get your Miis content. Once or twice a day of 20-30 minutes is more appropriate than attempting to binge it.
Tips for the Players:
- The in-game money may also be acquired by visiting the Fountain where the islanders donate it and selling non-interactive items obtained by Miis at the Pawn Shop. Tomodachi life is in real time and players are advised to play at various periods of the day to experience various interactions with islanders.
- The islanders will randomly interact, and make friends with one another over time. Once the child is matured the player can either transport them to the apartments or send them off through StreetPass to show up on other islands as an explorer.
