CHINO, Calif., Oct. 13, 2026 — ECOPOLY TECH INC, a Chino, California-based developer of functional water-absorbing materials sold under the SOVIQRA brand, has launched the SLDGBIND Series, a superabsorbent polymer system that converts high-moisture industrial sludge and liquid waste into stable, stackable solids. The company reports typical processing times of approximately 15 to 30 minutes in sludge applications, together with a final volume increase of less than 1 percent.
The SLDGBIND Series is engineered for sludge handling at landfills, wastewater treatment plants, tunnel boring sites, horizontal directional drilling projects and mining operations. The polymer binds free water into a three-dimensional gel structure, removing the free liquids that drive haulage weight, landfill tipping fees and transit leakage.

Dosage and Handling
Conventional bulking agents are applied at high ratios. Cement is added at 10 to 25 percent, lime at 10 to 20 percent, and sawdust at 50 to 200 percent by sludge volume. The SLDGBIND Series is applied at low dosage and reacts on contact, limiting added material and shortening on-site processing time.
“Sodium polyacrylate performance changes with the material it is treating, so the work starts in the lab and finishes on site,” said a spokesperson for ECOPOLY TECH INC. “The SLDGBIND Series was formulated so a pumpable slurry becomes a solid that can be loaded and stacked for transport.”
