Gucci to Return to Combined Men’s and Women’s Fashion Shows
Italian luxury brand Gucci recently announced its return to showcasing men’s and women’s collections in a combined format. Creative Director Sabato De Sarno will present the brand’s men’s and women’s collections in the same runway shows during Milan Fashion Week in February and September. Over the past few years, Gucci experimented with different formats. In 2017, under the leadership of former Creative Director Alessandro Michele, the brand adopted combined shows. However, starting in January 2023, it reverted to separate presentations.
Sabato De Sarno debuted his women’s collection for Gucci in September 2023, followed by standalone men’s collections in January and June 2024. Last May, he hosted the brand’s 2025 Cruise collection women’s show at the Tate Modern in London. Additionally, Gucci plans to present its 2026 Cruise collection on May 15 in Florence, again using a combined format for both men’s and women’s collections.

The collection blends meticulous design with distinctive tailoring, highlighted by the alluring gray tones beloved by Monsieur Dior, showcasing a refined and timeless gentleman’s style.
Louis Vuitton announced renowned actor Callum Turner as its new brand ambassador. Known for his exceptional acting skills and sophisticated style, Turner represents a new generation of artists who embody elegance and artistic flair.
Born in London, Turner gained acclaim for his roles in the historical drama The Capture, the drama film Queen and Country, and the romantic comedy Emma. Meanwhile, a recent analysis by Taobao West Lake Company highlights the resilience of Japan’s luxury market amidst global challenges. With the return of international tourists and strong local consumer purchasing power, Japan has emerged as a bright spot for luxury brands this year. High-end consumption in Japan continues to grow, with luxury giants like LVMH and Hermès reporting rising sales. LVMH’s third-quarter revenue in Japan surged by 20%, contrasting with weaker performance in Europe and other parts of Asia-Pacific.
Luxury brands are accelerating their presence in Japan, not only through flagship stores aimed at attracting high-end consumers but also by introducing exclusive products and localized experiences to strengthen their market position. Analysts believe that in the face of growing global economic uncertainty, Japanese consumers’ preference for high-quality products and loyalty to luxury brands will make Japan a stable growth engine for the luxury industry.
