INSIDE CASA SUNSET: MONACO’S HOTTEST GASTRONOMIC DESTINATION DURING FORMULA 1 WEEKEND
Monaco Grand Prix weekend has long represented the height of Riviera luxury. Across the Principality, beach clubs, terraces and private events welcome an international audience arriving for one of the world’s most prestigious sporting events.
This year, SUNSET returns from June 5 to 7, 2026, with a new collaboration bringing fine dining directly into the center of Monaco’s Formula 1 atmosphere: Casa SUNSET x Mauro Colagreco.
Hosted at Le Méridien Beach Plaza, Casa SUNSET combines gastronomy, music and beachfront celebration in an open-air setting overlooking the Mediterranean. Introduced as part of SUNSET’s 13th edition, the concept marks a major new chapter for the Monaco-based event.
At the center of the collaboration is Mauro Colagreco, chef-owner of Mirazur in Menton. Recognized internationally for his culinary approach and holder of eight Michelin stars, Colagreco has created an exclusive tasting menu inspired by some of his signature dishes for Casa SUNSET.
According to the official release, the concept was imagined as “a singular experience, guided by taste and emotion.”
Facing the sea, Casa SUNSET becomes the focal point of the evening during SUNSET weekend. Guests move between dinner, music and celebration while the atmosphere gradually transforms throughout the night.

SUNSET itself has become one of Monaco Grand Prix weekend’s most recognizable destinations since its launch in 2013. Positioned directly on the beach at Le Méridien Beach Plaza, the event combines electronic music culture, Riviera lifestyle and immersive hospitality.
For 2026, Casa SUNSET adds a new gastronomic layer to that identity.
Dinner service takes place from 7:00 pm until 10:30 pm with a tasting menu presented in four acts. According to the organizers, Casa SUNSET was conceived as “a space apart at the heart of SUNSET,” offering guests a more intimate atmosphere within the broader energy of Grand Prix weekend.
As midnight approaches, the venue transitions into an after-party format continuing until 3:00 am around a line-up of DJs and beachfront nightlife.
The concept reflects SUNSET’s broader evolution over the years from private gathering into international lifestyle destination.

Accessible by tender or shuttle service, SUNSET continues to create an immersive Riviera environment directly beside the Mediterranean. Music remains central to the experience while Casa SUNSET introduces a more refined culinary destination within the larger beachfront setting.
