Stop Losing Mesos While Leveling in MapleStory Classic World: IGGM’s 5 Maps for Levels 30-40 That Pay You Back
In MapleStory Classic World, the level 30–40 range is a true test of patience; your experience requirements rise significantly, and the cost of potions increases.
Consequently, if you invest skill points into non-primary skills, your damage growth may temporarily slow down – this is perfectly normal.
There is no need to rush toward endgame content at this stage; leveling is a marathon, and teaming up offers more consistent progress than solo grinding.
IGGM.com believes that with the right map choice, you can level up and earn MapleStory Classic World Mesos simultaneously.
Rocky Road III
Rocky Road III is an excellent early-game map for hunting Wild Boars. You can handle the central platform solo, and the overall pace allows for a semi-AFK playstyle.
While many players wait until around level 25 to visit Rocky Road III, Wild Boars drop valuable items like Iron Ore and Leather. You can easily come here a bit early to level up and build a resource stockpile.
Furthermore, there are multiple ways to earn Mesos – through direct drops or by selling Wild Boar Teeth to shops – ensuring you won’t lose money while grinding here.
Even with heavy HP potion usage or equipment costs, you are likely to break even or even turn a profit in Mesos at Rocky Road III.
Additionally, Dark Axe Stumps spawn in this area and can drop Wooden Tops, which are particularly useful for Assassins.
Firewood dropped by Dark Axe Stumps can be used for crafting or quests; if you don’t need it, IGGM.com recommends selling it to shops for Mesos.
The Burnt Land I
Next up is The Burnt Land I, a Fire Boar map that offers exceptional experience gains. While it can accommodate 8 to 9 players, an ideal party size is around 5 to 7.
Overall, the drops from Fire Boars are superior to those of the earlier Wild Boars – items like Arwen’s Glass Shoe, for instance. While market prices fluctuate, these items can indeed fetch a handsome sum of Mesos.
You can also obtain crafting materials such as Leather, Iron Ore, and Garnet Ore, as well as equipment that might come with bonus Max HP/MP or other primary stat boosts.
However, IGGM.com would like to point out that your Mesos balance might not see a significant immediate increase when you first start training at The Burnt Land I, as the cost of HP potions will constantly eat into your earnings.
Don’t worry; as you sell off large quantities of ETC items and equipment, your overall MS Classic World Mesos income remains solid.
You can start leveling here around level 30; levels 32 or 33 are also fine, and you can even stay here well past level 45.
If there is a downside to The Burnt Land I, it is that the map is constantly overcrowded; finding an open channel during peak hours on MSCW can be very difficult.
East Rocky Mountain VI
If you can’t squeeze into The Burnt Land I, East Rocky Mountain VI, which IGGM.com is introducing next, is a worthy alternative to consider.
This map features two platform levels. Annoying monsters called Lupins spawn at the bottom; if your accuracy and level aren’t high enough, you’ll face heavy potion consumption and increased Mesos expenses.
The best strategy here is to have someone in your party specifically handle Lupins, allowing lower-level players to focus on dealing damage from the upper level.
Compared to The Burnt Land I, it is much easier to find a channel at East Rocky Mountain VI during peak hours, and the combat experience at levels 32 or 33 is excellent.
Although your MSCW Mesos yield here isn’t necessarily higher than at The Burnt Land I, it serves as a solid alternative route.
Ant Tunnel III
Located in Victoria Island, Ant Tunnel III is another popular leveling spot for the level 30–40 range; the deeper you go, the less crowded it becomes.
Here, you have the chance to obtain Mesos drops from Zombie Mushrooms, or even a Claw Attack Scroll: Intermediate.
While such scrolls fetch a high price in Mesos, their drop rate is very low; therefore, avoid sacrificing your EXP farming efficiency solely to hunt for them.
If you cannot find a spot in other popular maps, IGGM.com recommends teaming up to grind at Ant Tunnel III.
Another Path
If you play a melee class, you might consider Another Path as you approach Level 40.
It isn’t a mainstream leveling spot in MapleStory Classic World, so you are unlikely to face competition for the map.
Warriors can lure monsters from both sides, group them together for concentrated AoE attacks, and then use the portal at the bottom to return to the top, creating an efficient loop.
You can farm Cold Eyes here; however, these monsters have high levels, large health pools, and deal significant damage, so sufficient Accuracy is required.
If the resources gathered here don’t meet your needs, you can also buy MSCW Mesos to make your leveling journey smoother.
As long as you have enough Accuracy, Another Path is a very attractive option for Warriors and other melee classes.
You don’t need to rush through all these maps between levels 30 and 40; consider factors like class suitability, channel availability, and potential Mesos earnings.
Accumulating Mesos while leveling in MSCW can make the more challenging stages of the game a bit easier later on.
IGGM.com wishes you a smooth leveling journey in MapleStory Classic World!
