Hotel Industry: Maestro PMS Announces a New Technology Investment that will Transform Hospitality in 2024

Technology is an ever-changing field. In only a few years, we’ve received various online tools and platforms that make our workflow seamless. However, it seems like the focus in 2024 is on the hotel industry.

More precisely, hoteliers are constantly looking for newer ways to enhance their guests’ and employees’ loyalty. Therefore, Maestro PMS (the only hospitality management software that provides an all-in-one hotel and resort property management system) announced that they will create more personalized stays for guests and ease up the work operations for the hotel staff.

So, let’s see what exactly are they preparing!

Embedded Payments

So far, there are hundreds of tools that ease up the workflow of different businesses. You can coordinate your employees from one platform, create a signature on official documents, divide job tasks, etc. But one of the biggest trends in the last period is digital payments. This process transforms the way customers engage with different services.

So, as all sectors move toward a digital environment, hospitality must too. Therefore, Maestro PMS decided to integrate payment processing into different systems and devices (mobile apps, PMS, self-service kiosks, etc.). This step will contribute to a convenient payment experience for guests. However, there are more benefits to it.

Some of the most significant perks will be eliminating third-party overhead and fees, simpler transaction workflow, modern payment terminals, and PCI compliance with data breach protection. More so, embedded payments will provide clients access to the payments dashboard inside Maestro, as well as the daily emailed reconciliation reports. Ultimately, they’ll be able to get direct support from Maestro.

However, you should keep in mind that the plan is for these features to become available for everyone in the second quarter of 2024. So, maybe, in the meantime, Maestro PMS will add some additional benefits.

AI-Powered Chatbots and Booking System

Artificial intelligence is not as bad as some people perceive it. It easily analyzes large amounts of data, such as user preferences, booking history, and market trends, which helps hoteliers come up with more personalized experiences for their guests.

Due to this, Maestro PMS decided to develop an AI-based chatbot that will provide instant responses to questions, help with reservations, and address all of the customer concerns in real-time. On top of this, the chatbot will improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.

In order to streamline the booking process, Maestro PMS is also working on launching AI integration into the hotel booking engine process. Aside from this, AI will help elevate customer experience, optimize all operations, and boost revenue growth. Due to this, hotels will quickly become successful. But how exactly will this work?

As you might be familiar with, business owners often use AI algorithms because they can optimize pricing strategies based on various factors. For example, they analyze changes in demand, monitor the prices of competitors, and conduct an analysis of historical hotel data. As a result, hotel owners will be able to maximize profitability and still remain competitive.

Moreover, AI also accurately predicts demand patterns. This comes in handy because hotels can easily allocate their resources and improve their inventory management. All of these practices significantly minimize the risk of underutilization of rooms, as well as overbooking. So, not only will you have satisfied consumers, but you will also operate very efficiently.

Gift Cards and Mobile Housekeeping

Another project of Maestro PMS for 2024 is unveiling new mobile tools for housekeeping. More precisely, these tools will enhance the experience of employees and strengthen the loyalty among the staff.

Additionally, digital gift cards are also predicted for 2024. You will be able to choose a theme for the card and customize it for a particular holiday, location, or promotion. Such an innovation will boost hotel revenues without negatively affecting the service. In fact, they will only help consumers feel more valuable and privileged.

Where to Learn More About this Roadmap?

While it’s still early to talk with certainty about these things, the idea is more or less here. However, Warren Dehan, who is the Maestro President, will explain more about the whole project at Maestro’s Accelerate User Conference. It will take place at the Omni King Edward Hotel in Toronto, and it will last for a few days – April 15-18.

At the conference, all of the attendees will have the chance to learn about these innovations and also to meet and connect with industry experts. So, if your goal is to become more familiar with the evolving technology process, be there and see how it will change the hotel industry in the upcoming period!
