Predictions for Boruto Two Blue Vortex Chapter 15: What to Expect
Now, the occurrences of the next chapter 15— I really don’t know what’s going to happen in the next chapter of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex. You know, there are plenty of things that could occur, or there could be just one thing. But let’s talk about that later in this article.
The only way to really predict what’s going to happen in the next chapter is if we look at all the occurrences of the last chapter (14: Duty) objectively. Mitsuki helps Boruto, Boruto is being interrogated, and he gives them multiple pieces of information about the people they are trying to attack. Boruto escapes, Shikamaru is in danger of losing his position as Hokage, the Sand Village needs help, and Ryu is the new Shinju.
Out of all those things, the only relevant one to look forward to in the next chapter is Ryu and who these people will be that help the Sand Village. Now, it’s not that everything that occurred in the last chapter, aside from Ryu’s introduction to the series, was irrelevant. It just doesn’t seem like something that would amount to anything in the next chapter. Maybe in future chapters, but for now, the main focus is Ryu, and really, that’s who I believe will be the main focus of the next chapter—maybe even two, three, or four chapters in. For the next four or five months or so, I feel like the next chapter will go one of two ways: the team will be arranged and then head toward the Sand Village, or we will get a flashback.
It could be a flashback to everything that occurred within the Sand Village— from Gaara being defeated to Shinki being turned into a tree by a Claw Grime. It will possibly show Matsuri and what she was doing in the Hidden Sand Village and how she investigated whoever was helping Boruto out. Aside from that, there’s not much to talk about from Ryu’s perspective. Who knows what happened to him? How did they even get to the Hidden Sand Village? You know what I mean; it’s a lot of questions. Why did they think to go there in the first place?
Now, another thing to talk about is what Ryu is going to do. This is what I want to focus on. What will Ryu do? How will his character be as a Shinju? Will he be the complete opposite of Shinki, or will he be exactly like Shinki? Will he be dark, or will he be cheerful? Because Matsuri isn’t really a dark person in comparison with Moegi, but Bug is a little more playful and less worrisome, if you think about it. But I guess that’s how Bug would probably be if he had power. Mamushi isn’t worrisome, but Bug is kind of worrisome, yet he’s also relaxed. He’s kind of relaxed when it comes to Moegi.
In Matsuri’s perspective, there isn’t really much contrast in her character, especially when you compare how Moegi was in Shippuden to how she is now. And Matsuri is… well, it’s a tricky case. But it’s also not that tricky when it comes to Hidari, because even though he seems dumb, he acts a lot like Sasuke in terms of demeanor. He’s calm, moves calmly, and is very straight to the point. As for Jura, his character is just curious. He’s so curious, and his target just proves that he’s the Ten-Tails itself.
That’s all I can really do for predicting the next chapter 15 of the Boruto manga. All I can do is raise questions. I feel like either the next chapter will be a flashback, or the chapter after the next will be a flashback. We’ve already had a flashback in chapter 12, and adding another flashback would be kind of cramped. But we’ve only had like two flashbacks so far, so it’s not that serious. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to bring another flashback to show what happened to Shinki—being turned into a tree—and the Shinju or Claw Grimes defeating Gaara. We could also learn what happened to the Hidden Sand Village, or if there’s even any significant damage to it.
There’s also the thing about the teams. If you think about it, there are a lot of Sand representatives in the Hidden Leaf Village. Temari is there, and Shikamaru is married to Temari. Shikadai is the son of an elite, which is Temari. Kawaki is technically the son of the Hokage (if you consider Omnipotence) and the son of the Hokage is Boruto. Boruto is the son of Naruto, who is a friend of the Kazekage. There’s a lot of people who are supposed to help, but, like I said in my last blog, this is also an opportunity for new characters to arise. Similar to how they reintroduced Team 10 into Naruto’s story in Shippuden, there’s a lot of things that could happen.
There could be another person or team. They could even bring out Team Udon if he has a new team. I doubt that, though. That’s probably not going to happen, but then we have to talk about Boruto. Boruto has kind of been in almost every chapter since around chapter 9 or 10 when they revealed that Himawari was the Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tails. It could be good to bench him a little because, I mean, he got interrogated and beat up in the last chapter.
I was also considering that, as Moegi and Matsuri were investigating Boruto, they could have possibly attacked Kashin Koji. But that’s not really the case, considering that chapter 13 showed that he was lamenting Boruto’s situation, saying it was an unexpected turn of events or a troublesome situation. If they had information about someone helping Boruto, I wonder where that really came from. I have no idea. It’s only for the story to reveal itself.
That’s all I’m really waiting for. There wasn’t much to talk about from the last chapter’s occurrences. All I know is that the Shinki-Shinju Ryu will probably attack the Sand Village in the future chapters. He might literally do that in the next chapter too. Let me clarify—not “attack” the village, but more like go directly there. Possibly with reference to his character.
Now, there’s one more thing I want to address: the situation with Mitsuki and why he helped Boruto the way he did. Obviously, Mitsuki has been having doubts about who is “Son” or whatever. But the doubt wasn’t completely cleared and still isn’t even now, to be honest. But let’s take into account everything that Boruto and Mitsuki have been through since the beginning of the Two Blue Vortex manga up until the current chapter.
Mitsuki already declared that he wanted to kill Boruto. He was so bloodthirsty about it that it was even hard for Kawaki to breathe around him—that’s how much he wanted to kill Boruto. Then, we get to chapter six, which shows Mitsuki’s resolve to kill Boruto. He doesn’t care about destroying the village, interrupting people, or even drugging the person he’s trying to protect. He is willing to kill Boruto.
Then, in the seventh chapter, he fights Boruto, and Boruto tells him everything—not everything, but enough to convince Mitsuki to let him go. Boruto pushes it in Mitsuki’s face that he has that knowledge and that Mitsuki knows Kawaki is not his homie, you know what I mean? Boruto also tells him that Lord Seventh is alive and safe. Now, keep this in mind: Lord Seventh is alive and safe. As soon as Boruto says this, that’s one reason not to trust him, but it’s also information to keep in mind.
We could also talk about chapter eight, when Mitsuki had that conversation with Eida about how she was obsessed with being in love. Mitsuki describes her as a foolish girl in love with the concept of being in love. It’s a breather conversation, a moment to let your mind out. They don’t have a therapist, so this is a way to vent.
Now, fast-forward to chapter fourteen. You have to understand that when Boruto was being interrogated, he said everything he needed to say. First of all, he talked about the Shinju and their identities. He also said that Lord Seventh and his wife were still alive. Now, let’s go back to Eida. She was listening to the conversation from the beginning of the interrogation to the end, and even now, she can go back and watch it if she wants to.
Daemon then asks Kawaki, “It ain’t looking too good. What’s your plan if Boruto decides to let all the cats out of the bag?” Look, Boruto literally says everything that needs to be said. There isn’t a possibility that anyone is loony enough to believe their positions are flipped, but Kawaki did outright lie about killing the Hokage. I wonder how they’ll react if they find out. Just saying this is enough to make people doubt Kawaki. Daemon is not someone to trust from another person’s perspective, but I’ll get to that later.
Even Kawaki says, “It won’t change anything no matter what Boruto says. It’s his fault that Lord Seventh disappeared—not died—a dangerous Ōtsutsuki who could rampage at any moment. That’s his true nature.” Then we cut to the next part, where Mitsuki is literally in the building. He’s been tasked with guarding or being an escort for Eida, Kawaki, and Daemon.
Going back to the fight with Boruto, Mitsuki already had everything he needed to know. Now, it’s not that he has completely cleared his doubts, but he has some clues as to why his son (Boruto) isn’t radiating him. Their positions have switched places, as revealed by Daemon, someone who cannot be affected by Omnipotence. Secondly, Daemon literally says that Kawaki outright lied about killing the Hokage, which Boruto had already told Mitsuki.
Now, let’s be real. Nobody’s going to believe a fugitive who supposedly killed the Seventh Hokage, one of the most powerful ninjas in the current shinobi world, and tried to kill his best friend. Nobody’s just going to believe that. But then you hear it from your own son’s mouth—the person that’s supposed to be radiating you—and the people that he’s around. At that point, everything starts to fall into place in Mitsuki’s head: his doubts were right.
He’s starting to realize, through all these conversations that Kawaki has been having with Daemon and Eida—not just from Boruto’s mouth, but literally from the traitor’s mouth itself—that Boruto was right. Kawaki isn’t his real son. Mitsuki’s doubts are actually becoming real. It’s not a big revelation, but it’s something.
That’s why Mitsuki helped Boruto the way he did. Even the time when Inojin was talking with Eida, there was another part that made me a little weird about it. How did Mitsuki know what to do as soon as he entered the interrogation room? He kind of reacted to the so-called operation, bringing Venom. He said, “Let’s use Venom. Summon Mitsuki.” I feel like that “Venom” was a code because, as soon as he said that, Boruto kind of raised his head a little, like he realized what it meant in a way, or something like that. Who knows, man? It’s whatever.
Mitsuki just followed the rule. Maybe, in the back of the notes, it said to do this, and Boruto is going to say that. But it is what it is, though. Boruto was helped by Mitsuki because Mitsuki realized what was going on with Boruto. Boruto eventually escaped from the Hokage office.
