Support for Mentally Vulnerable Youth in Denmark – UNIK Makes a Difference
At UNIK, we are dedicated to supporting the mental health of mentally vulnerable young people. We assist young individuals who have completed clinical OPUS programs in psychiatry, as well as foster youth who have experienced developmental trauma and neglect. Our goal is to provide them with the necessary support and guidance, so they can navigate the transition into adulthood with strength and confidence.
We offer both psychological and psychotherapeutic assistance, network groups, and a safe, recovery-oriented community. At UNIK, young people find a welcoming and supportive environment where they can share their experiences with others in similar situations and receive help in managing the challenges that come with the transition from adolescence to adulthood.
Support After OPUS Programs
Our OPUS Young program is designed for young people aged 14 to 20 who need support following their clinical treatment. We offer therapy, peer-to-peer communities, and practical guidance, helping them find their path in life and form healthy relationships. For those over 18, we offer long-term recovery programs that help them build confidence and take control of their future.
Sustainable Social Solutions
We are proud of our collaboration with ESG partners, who help us deliver sustainable social solutions for vulnerable youth. Together with foundations and special initiatives, we support fostered youth, ensuring they receive the assistance they need to transition successfully into adulthood.
UNIK is supported by the Ministry of Health, and our work continues to make a difference for the young people who need it the most.
